Festival Success, then an actual break

We had an amazing, succesful festival! A true celebration of the beautiful lavender blooms we have been blessed with!
Unfortunately, the beginning of our harvest was interrupted when Janice had an accident in southern Cali and broke two bones in her leg. She is recovering after surgery, and is hoping to be moving around as soon as she can!
Send your love her way- she needs all positive thoughts around her!

Our farm is proud to be growing micro greens! Janice, Bob, David, and Sami work every day to ensure proper growth. We now sell a book on microgreens that you can purchase here in our store. Today we are pool side here at Green Acres Lavender Farm! We are excited for the events this weekend. Sami is getting ready for this Friday at the beautiful Avila Farmers Market with our booth and products with information for you to enjoy. So come see us this Friday!

If you love good music come to our Lavender Farm this Saturday May 30th at 7 pm to hear The Demos!!! Parking is provided. It's a great way to kick off those summer nights.

From Mother's Day Weekend

Happy Thursday everyone! We would like to introduce ourselves, we’re Michaella and Tracy, second year Recreation Parks and Tourism administration majors at Cal Poly. We have been given the amazing opportunity to intern at the lovely Green Acres Lavender Farm and have enjoyed every minute of it! This weekend was beautiful up at the farm. Tracy took her mom and friends to visit. It is an ideal mothers day destination. They all adored it and can’t wait to rent out the vacation rental and enjoy a longer stay! The Farm was filled with life and visitors being entertained by the welcoming and personable, Janice and Bob! Please be sure to check in on our blogs with current activities and updates.

What A Great Time to Come And Enjoy Green Acres Lavender Farm !!

Spring is here and the lavender is blooming!
And so is the music at Green Acres Lavender Farm!!

On JUNE 6th at 7PM ,Lindsay Tomasic will perform songs from her most recent albums. Lindsay is thrilled to announce that Novi Novog and Larry Tuttle of String Planet, will be playing a warm up set and then joining Lindsay for her concert.

Larry Tuttle is one of the masters of the Chapman Stick and is known around the world for his talent as a player and composer. Violist Novi Novog is a world renowned violist with an unmistakable style and great energy. Novi has played with artists such as Frank Zappa, The Doobie Brothers and Prince! It will be a very special night of music at the Lavender Farm, and we really hope you will join us for the event.

It's been a beautiful day here! Hot, but with a nice breeze that is keeping us cool!
The two newest kittens (now a year old!) followed me around the property as I tended to the garden and microgreens, playing and chasing each other.
Everyday the beauty up here is INSPIRING! The lavender plants are really stretching out now, getting ready to burst forth with color. We are so excited for this year's big bloom!

Now we're getting the place ready for the upcoming SOLSTICE MAGAZINE MIXER, this THURSDAY from 5:30-7pm! Join us! $10 donation to Surfrider Foundation SLO.
